Split system

The term 'Split system' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' When applied to electric air-conditioning equipment, it means a two-part system--an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The indoor unit is an evaporator coil mounted in the indoor circulating air system, and the outdoor unit is an air-cooled condensing unit containing an electric motor-driven compressor, a condenser fan, and a fan motor'.
